Review # 1 was written on 2020-06-10 00:00:00 Joshua Cheon Though it is an older book on India China relations, it still offers great insight. Much of the focus is on India-China Naval dynamics and other shorter sections on different aspects. The historical aspect of the paper which was extremely interesting. Before reading this book, I didn't know about India-China cooperation in the energy sector. It offered a fairly brief yet detailed analysis into the same. All in all, a decent read to understand china-india dynamics even today in 2020. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-12-07 00:00:00 Ethan Quillen A good holistic account of the development of Indian culture and civilisation from the paleolithic age to 1200 CE. Burjor Avari is not a professional historian, but he uses good sources for this account. The only drawback is that South Indian history isn't given as much attention as that of the North. |
