Review # 1 was written on 2015-11-26 00:00:00 Lisa Jones The book starts making clear one point: no matter what you think about your race and your hope to live in a monoracial city or country, that's not going to happen ever again! Although this statement can lead us to consider this book the typical book about how tolerance and differences are beautiful, most of the book tries to cover the difficulties of living in a multicultural environment. Different approaches to the presence of immigrants and religious, ethnic and linguistic minorities are discussed and analysed in order to see which one is capable to guarantee the basic human rights and which is philosophically wrong or right. Difficult to follow but interesting if you're highly interested in the subject. |
