This book dates back to 1979 and is more about the history and statistics of educating the deaf. The author lived in Minnesota and worked at the University Of Minnesota during the seventies doing intensive research on deafness. He worked with my family and our children. We were given a free copy of his work.

This book was read for an independent study with the Jesuit philosopher Dr. William Ellos, for whom I served as a teaching assistant at Loyola University Chicago.
