Review # 1 was written on 2010-10-03 00:00:00 Jack Williams A great little book about all of the sorts of life a tree supports, from insects to birds to various rodents. Like "Close Encounters With Insects and Spiders", it's filled with great illustrations of all of the animals mentioned.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-03-31 00:00:00 Jane Scifleet 3.75 Stars This book was not at all what I thought it would be. With a bear on the cover and "Once there was a tree" I figured it was a story about a bear and tree. It so much more. The Tree doesn't belong to just the bear, or the titmouse, or the ants, or the earwig, or the caterpillar, or the flies, or the frogs or the man! "The Tree belongs to all, because it grows from the earth that is home for all!"
