Review # 1 was written on 2020-11-23 00:00:00 Niagia Pickney Many of these poems, unusually prosaic (notice the paragraph-length stanzas), seem better suited for a different literary genre, perhaps memoir ("Letters," "New Year's Eve, 1959") or creative nonfiction ("In Praise of the New Transfer Station," "Down East News Item"). Favorite Poems: "Beans Beans Beans" "The Riddle of Noah"

Review # 2 was written on 2019-05-19 00:00:00 Paicu Alexandru Some amazing insights, but many poems did not fully resonate with me. I should have read this volume in 1996, when it first appeared, but I found it too many years later, and it feels as if I have grown past some of the ideas.
