Review # 1 was written on 2014-09-30 00:00:00 Sheila Sexton Economics, Biodiversity, and Man Darrel Faxon is a Oregon Coast local, his book waas left as a gift by a guest at our beach cottage vacation rental. Little did I know it would be a short, but thought provoking read. He speaks from his family history as a Logger, and as a conservationist who has spent a lifetime observing birds, plants and the the natural design of this process. He leaves the reader faced with his/her own bias and perhaps the ability to see if the authors observations are worthy of their bias. I like that! |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-12-27 00:00:00 Anthony Beard A good case study of the interaction between natural resources, class, and the African American struggle. |
