Review # 1 was written on 2014-10-02 00:00:00 Kimberly Game Like a murky puddle after the spring rains, I wasn't sure how deep this book would go into a subject that I find fascinating. Feeling intrepid, I made the plunge and was rewarded with a pitiful splash as my foot sank one centimeter into the muck. The patient will see you know has the foundations of what could have been an excellent introduction to health informatics, unfortunately, the author does not provide. Shallow overviews of what is, admittedly, a very complex subject, do not provide any meat for the hungry reader. Wow, I hate my metaphors today. Anyway, back to the subject at hand. This book is not worth your time. Obviously, Mr. Kriz knows his stuff because this book is laid out in a logical way, but unfortunately, nothing comes of this structure. |
