Review # 1 was written on 2012-09-28 00:00:00 James Scott Really great overview of Victorian literature. It covered a breadth of topics while still being specific and addressing unique points of interest. I particularly liked it when the discuses certain themes or artistic styles of an individual author, such as the chapter on Wilkie Collins and his association and inspiration with and from the Pre-Raphaelites. |
Review # 2 was written on 2016-06-12 00:00:00 Patricia Britton Solid introduction and reference to a wide range of aspects in the field - from publishing history to Gothic revival and the colonial Other. |
