Review # 2 was written on 2020-09-29 00:00:00 Raul Gudino I really enjoyed this book, which adds some important pieces to the family history. I liked all of David's redemption, the honesty and lucidity with which he recognized past mistakes and the way he tried to recover his relationship with his twin brother Jon. I loved the whole Maddy-Max part: although his change is still unrealistic, the new Max is adorable towards his family. Instead, I am very sorry for the problems between Olivia and Caspar, which however are described (this time YES) in a very plausible and realistic way. At this point I will have to read the next book to find out if their marriage will last... The only part that bored me was that of Jake and Annalise, not because they are not cute and definitely about to fall in love, but in the midst of many other events I could not wait to go on when the book talked about them. |
