Review # 2 was written on 2010-09-16 00:00:00 Alan Moon I would have to give this book 2.5 stars. I really enjoy Jillian Hart's books but this one though written well and holding my interest left me feeling luke warm. The McKaslin girls are all pretty perfect and though Katherine went through an awful time she handled it like the perfect person she is. I just wish that Hart had made something else Katherine's tragic problem because though it is a terrible thing when it happens to people in real life it has become a cliche of the inspirational romance novels. I also don't like how Hart wrote in Jack's wife's death, she couldn't have simply died? I will continue to read Hart but I wish she would stop trying to make her characters have tragic pasts and just write them like ordinary people, I mean there has to be a little drama but not so extreme-people will still like them.
