*3.5 stars* I really liked this one, as long as I didn't think too hard about the fact that the "hero" blackmailed the father of the "heroine" to basically make this girl his (the "hero") sex slave for 30 nights to make up for the fact that the father had stolen the accolades from a scientific breakthrough when the hero was a grad student. But this was okay, because she had secretly carried a torch for him for years. I honestly liked the book once I got past that and it turned out to be a sweet love story.

What can you expect from Harlequin Blaze? Passable story but not much effort to develop personalities. Quick read. Improbable plot: brilliant scientist (Hunter) attempts to get even with injury done him by his old Professor, whose daughter (Gillian) ia a beautiful musician. She is blackmailed to spend thirty days under his control or Hunter will destroy her father's reputation. Incidentally, attempts are made on Hunter's life by terrorists trying to get or stop his research. Oh, and he was severely disfigured by a letter bomb that took off his hand. Kind of a lot of story to pack into a relatively short read. Sigh.
