Review # 1 was written on 2011-12-20 00:00:00 Richard Carey For a quick-read little romance book, this was actually pretty good. Of course there was the awkward inner-monologue so common to this genre, but the book had other points I was pleased with. There were a few plot changes that I didn't see coming (both the arrival and departure of Olaf, though I won't say how!) and I liked the fact that Seona was only beautiful to Gryffid... it's funny that at the end of the novel, people were still calling her ugly. I also think her father, Diarmod, was completely believable and acted as expected for this time period. As a side note, the discussion about boats having rudders in the back and not on the side was interesting.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-07-14 00:00:00 JAMES INGRAM Se le merita proprio queste stelle. E' un racconto scritto bene, non pensate o smielato. Ha i suoi pregi e per ora nemmeno un difetto di cui seccarmi perch� riesce a dare un'impronta decisa e sicura di quello che � il modo di raccontare della Moore e che ho pienamente apprezzato come prima lettura di questa scrittrice che non mi ha per niente deluso. Seona � una guerriera mancata, che nella sua vita ha conosciuto solo la solitudine e il rammarico della propria esistenza messa tante olte al bando per i peccati della madre che non ha conoscito. Un padre turbolento, un'esistenza fine a nulla, trattata come un oggetto senza valore e smerciabile con ritrosia per le spese che ne avrebbe sormontato. Griffyd invece � un eroe o una controparte maschile perfetta. Non � l'eroino pronto a salvarla ma solo ad innamorarsene e a trovare quella passione mai provata e che lo cambier� progressivamente. E se i silenzi valgono pi� di mille parole, anche un eventuale altro pretendente vale tutto lo scompiglio che pu� creare. Perfetto per davvero!!! Non sar� da dieci ma da otto sicuramente e meritatamente anche! Da leggere.
