4 Stars! ~ Ty sincerely hoped that he could pull off taking his brother Dex's place but running the M3I Corp. was vastly different than working the ranch. M3I was a network of medical groups, including hospitals and HMO's. Jessica is a doctor at one of the M3I hospitals and she needs more funding for her critical care pediatric ward. From the moment Ty sees her, he knows he's in trouble and he agrees to fund the ward ignoring his grandfather's disapproval. Jessica finds herself feeling guilty that she may have misjudged Dex, and she's confused by her sudden attraction to him. Ms. Herron does a great job of pulling off this switch. I really like the way she presents Ty's point of view. Ty feels guilty by not confiding in Jessica about his true identity, but before he gets the chance to confess, his identity is revealed and Jessica feels betrayed. Interesting twists. A very good read. Trading Places -- Book #1 Ty Cooper and Dex Montgomery are identical twin brothers. When they were babies their parents died in a car accident , and their grandparents feuded over custody. Dex went to live with their paternal grandparents and he enjoyed a life of comfort but an arms length relationship with his family. Ty went to live with their maternal grandparents and he enjoyed a life of hard, honest work and family closeness. Ty was told his brother died when they were babies. Dex never knew he even had a brother. Until they met in an airport bar while waiting for their flights. Once they discovered the lies they'd both been told, they decided to take each others places without letting their families know of the switch
