Review # 1 was written on 2020-09-17 00:00:00 Peter Hambling A young woman, Maggie Potter leaves the modeling field and moves to Texas to find a husband. She ends up at a ranch owned by Jake MacIntye. Jake is a widower who lost his wife and child during childbirth and has not moved on. Of course Maggie falls for him, but he is closed off all his feelings because of his loss. He has agreed to set her up with well to do men wealthy he knows. This was just an ok read for me due to her being (as described) a super model who apparently can't get a date. doesn't ring true.Rated a 2.5 stars
