Review # 1 was written on 2011-07-28 00:00:00 Viggo Austbo Well written and good story but I just couldn't get over the H sleeping with the h and then sleeping with the sister as well, all the while lying to the h about the house. IMO he needed to be gone like the curbside trash he was cause that is just disgusting and the h should have used her nail gun to staple the dangly bits down and then she should have kicked every single family member with the exception of the aunt out of her life. There was no remorse or excuse for screwing her sister while he was involved with her and at such a late date in the story and no explanation for it, as supposedly he did not even like the sister that much. Slimy parasites like this are pretty useless and I was sorry to see her wind up with him which meant no HEA moment for me.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-04-22 00:00:00 Richard Taylor Meh! *spoilers* Just when the soporific goings on of the h's family, silently tussling and scheming to get rid of their white elephant house/home (from under the h) get too much, the icky quadrangle with the sister and the h's fianc� are enough to wake you up - rudely! The h's 'malicious' older brother is my favorite character - doesn't say much for the rest of the dysfunctional lot. The h could have broken off with her fianc� when she realizes early on that she wouldn't/couldn't marry him but doesn't! And then has (inevitable) sex with the H (as do the other couple - not making it ok). And I didn't like the H (even if it's only) contemplating having sex with the sister a few times while he's besotted (but-wary-of-commitment) with the h. Well, a guy's gotta take sex where he's offered sex! Same goes for the sister - loves the om but wants to shag the H. And I hate reading about selfish, uncaring families who don't really get redeemed and stay on well into the epilogue. All very icksomely deserving each other people. This is a book I had to force myself to read on despite having 'the sexiest man alive' as the H!
