Review # 1 was written on 2018-05-06 00:00:00 Kristen Dunlap 3.5 stars Now this was a much better effort from the author. The heroine's ten-year old son whose IQ is off the charts decides he wants a father and a husband for his mother and reaches the hero's grandmother's agency. The whole book was hilarious with the son coming up with new shenanigans to keep throwing them together. The hero falls for her instantly but the heroine is very wary having been foolish before in following her no-good husband around for five years to keep him with her. Her goal is to move back home and raise her son well. A nice one-time read.

Hutch - a ten years old, very smart, brainiac boy - is determined to find a husband for his mom & a dad for himself. He goes to a matchmaker agency, hands his $9 lifesaving & asks for the best man he could get. The hero, Ty Merrick, a rancher, silent partner & grandson of the agency owner, is given the "job" to help Hutch fill out the questionnare for his Mom. But when the computer choose the most suited person for Hutch's Mom, Cassidy, Ty gets the surprise of his life. With a bad marriage experience, Cassidy is wary & independent. Cassidy is a cute klutz. Falling in love with her at the first kiss, Ty has to learn fast to deal with her clumsiness. He shows a lot of patience & understanding, trying to gain Cassidy's love. I like how Ty dealt with Hutch's insecurities, showing tenderness & firmness at the same time. The episodes when Hutch tries so hard to make his mother and Ty fall in lover are hilarious. So is the scene, at the end, when Ty tries desperately to convince Cassidy of his undying love. LoL ..
