Review # 2 was written on 2018-02-11 00:00:00 Julio Hernandez Anna was always the ugly duckling, thanks to a big pigment spot on her face. She's shy and a bit of a recluse. One day she is hit by a truck, and while she's recovering in the hospital and completely wrapped in bandages, she meets Evan. They form a connection, but Anna is convinced once he sees her face, he'll loose interest. I really like the idea of connecting with someone when looks don't come into play. Unfortunately there was surprise plastic surgery, which didn't do the characters justice I think. I'd rather have had Anna look like she had, because Evan loved her anyway.
