Review # 1 was written on 2019-12-23 00:00:00 Martin Andersson The blurb is the entire plot. Mary Sue, the angel of the title, captivates her man by the mid-way point. The lavish descriptions of the party preperations, Christmas decorations, and flora surrounding the station take up just as much page time as the romance. MW actually includes a shower sex scene (after heroine helps put out a lightning fire) that is as purple and fulsome as all of her landscape descriptions. It was fascinating to read her spin on a sex scene. Other MW staples are included: Obnoxious OW, neurotic relatives, artistic aboriginals for the heroine to champion. All in all, this was a fun Margaret Way story without a lot of drama. Recommended for those who like MW.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-02-18 00:00:00 Matt Dickie [ Jake was attending a party thrown by a relative when he entered the study and came upon the woman's husband and Angelica making out on the sofa, her one breast exposed and the man fondling her other breast. When they hear him they pull apart and Angel buried her face in her hands. He didn't see her fending the man off, or rushing to seek his help to rescue her, which made him reach to the conclusion that like his ex, she was a seducer of married men. What he didn't know was Angelica had got her six-foot-six tall brother later to straighten the guy up for attacking her. (hide spoiler)]
