Review # 1 was written on 2016-02-22 00:00:00 Mary MacNeil So far, I've enjoyed every book by this author, except for this one. I found it boring, poorly written, predictable and plain annoying. I had a hard time connecting with the heroine who was silly and irresponsible. I know the author was trying to make her lovable and endearing, but it flopped. The hero was worthless. He wasn't mean or visceral like our typical HP males, but he was definitely a self-centered, hypocritical jerk. The world revolved around him and always would. The good news; the heroine won't ever realize it. It's available on Amazon for just $2.99, but I would recommend passing. Even at that low price, it's not worth it. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-05-13 00:00:00 Curtis Golladay I just don't understand the glowing reviews. This book had terrible writing, noun, verb, predicate, noun, verb, predicate. Used the ame phrases over and over. the story was dull and predictable. The characters all unlikeable and uninteresting. |
