Ho hum beginning actually turns into a sweet story. Hero is a rich art collector. Heroine works for a gallery. They meet when hero lends some of private collection to the showing she is curating. He is smitten and pursues her. She is alarmed, knowing a player when she sees one. There is a lot of filler about the amateur theatrical society play heroine is starring in and a gormless wanna-be OM who lives in the same building as the heroine. The story picks up when heroine meets heros blind twin sister. Heroine likes her very much and the reader is able to see how heroine can fit into their family life, etc. . She also discovers that hero still feels guilty about being the cause of a riding accident that blinded her. The H/h are about to go to bed for the first time and OM interrupts them by asking to borrow tea bags. (LOL.) Hero abruptly walks out, leaving a heart-broken heroine. He later explains that he had decided at 18 that he would never marry because his parents died and hes the only family left for his sister. He doesnt want to take the virgin h without marriage. So he breaks it off. Heros sister tries to help by explaining everything, but heroine refuses to chase after him. Heroine mopes around and eventually takes herself to Spain for a holiday. Hero tracks her down and grovels for an HEA. I really liked the chemistry with the H/h once the heroine decided to give him a chance. The ending was believable but the opening was slooow going. .
