Review # 1 was written on 2019-07-11 00:00:00 Jack Winover Steele put a bit of a different spin on her go-to sources of friction. Also I think there was no "my god you're a ... virgin!" moment -- what a departure. I'm here for the preposterous set-up. I do enjoy forced-proximity and leads who just can't help themselves liking the other as they brave forth. Very glad and relieved the heroine did attempt, several times, to clear up the misunderstanding. And that she had reasons--personal, petty, requested--to continue the charade. At the beginning, the hero is almost too harsh and brusque to believe the heroine falls in love with him -anyway- so soon. But from there they have reasons to rethink their opinions and impressions, reasons to admire and appreciate the other, and reasons to fall in love. Ending could have used including the family being pleased it all worked out for them. And also the hero's younger brother owing to ditching the terrible girlfriend who started all the trouble in the first place. The heroine will get a HEA both in her hero and his family. Which is very nice.

Review # 2 was written on 2021-09-06 00:00:00 Dave Rinaldi I always wonder after reading a book in which the h has lied so often and so easily to the H, if he can and will ever trust her a 100%. She lies and lies. Oh sure, in the beginning she wanted to tell him the truth, but even after that false start, her lies keep coming like a flood. And why do we - female readers - forgive a woman who lies so much to the man while on the other hand we would call a man a jerk if he would have been the one telling lies.
