Review # 1 was written on 2017-12-13 00:00:00 Suzanne Griffith Amazon 2009-02-01. Mmmm, nucleosynthesis, cosmochemistry and nucleocosmochronology! This one looks really good so far. Eh, not really much of an advance upon the field's canonical textbook (Principal of Stellar Evolution and Nucleosynthesis) and the Fowler-era work, with terribly ugly graphs to boot. Nice emphasis on galactic evolution (as suggested by the title), but that area's still too iffy for most of these results, I expect, to hold water in twenty years. Not worth the price tag ($130, available used for ~$30).
