This is a super cute tie-in book! I found this in my childhood closet as I was doing some cleaning. I remember not enjoying Arthur as a kid and being forced to watch it, so I did NOT enjoy this book at all. Now, I can easily see it's a sweet, cute book full of rock'n'roll and kids characters love. It was definitely a hit! It's fun, full of colourful pictures and super cute. Also, the Backstreet Boys! Three out of five stars.

Arthur, It's Only Rock 'n' Roll, written by Marc Brown. This is a story based on a television series. Muffy and Francine were watching the Backstreet Boys on television. They decided they wanted to create their own band because they believed they could be better than the Backstreet Boys. Auditions were being held for Francine's new band and most of the people who audition were dismissed. Eventually Francine gets a band together and calls them U Stink. After an interview with the television show Almost Live Francine decides to quit because U Stink would never sell out. Another band decides to form called We Stink. Both bands go to the Backstreet Boys concert and receive an amazing opportunity. An excellent book for children; it's full of adventure, excitement, and entertainment. It has a very happy ending. Any child age 4 to 9 would enjoy reading this book or having the book read to them.
