Review # 1 was written on 2012-08-01 00:00:00 Michael Mcloughlin Ok, but not very relevant to silent films (which is what i was looking for)—one standard article on Griffith (Apolalyptic Cinema: D.W. Griffith and the aesthetics of reform, by Lara May), and Charles Eckert’s The Carole Lombard in Macy’s Window & Mary Ann Doane’s response, text of the Production Code. I didn’t finish book since i had other silent film books to move on to.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-08-13 00:00:00 Hilda Mills I abandoned this read half way through. It just didn't hold my interest.
