Review # 1 was written on 2018-05-17 00:00:00 Karl Conrad These maps are just what I needed to supplement Antony Beevor's "The Second World War". Very clear, well annotated, well chosen maps showing the major events. Is is a small book, but each map is full page and the facing page tells us the story in text. I am sure I will be returning to it in the future. It's a keeper.

It tells the history of World War II in maps alongside the accompanying text. Be aware that this book is a military history of WWII. If you are unfamiliar with some of the military terminology used, they have reference at the front of the book. Overall, this book contained a concise military history of WWII with maps as stated.
