Review # 1 was written on 2007-09-02 00:00:00 Ashley Mcconnon Surprisingly, the worst Comp. textbook I've probably ever had to teach from. Soo dry and general and textbook-ish, not worth the students' money. I had to use the 7th edition, so maybe the 8th is better somehow, but I wound up mostly making copies from other textbooks to give my students. One upside, it had essays by Tobias Wolff and Annie Dillard.
