Though the author does get passionate about her subject, she is careful to say what is fact and what is theory. We library types are used to sorting good information from bad! After some previous reading I was of the opinion that Buckingham or an agent of the Tudors had done away with the Princes in the Tower around the time of Buckingham's rebellion. However, Lamb presents evidence that makes it seem equally likely they were moved somewhere for safe keeping. Anyhow, the main point of the book is to show how Henry VII constructed one of the most poisonous character assassinations of all time, and that point was very well made.

First impressions: Kind of like an adult version of Josephine Tey's The Daughter of Time. Lamb writes very well - the text is clear and easy to read - neither heavy nor sensationalist. It's a short book and I got it a couple of days back and am already halfway through it without really trying. Overall, seems to be giving a good summary of the controversy.
