Review # 1 was written on 2011-10-14 00:00:00 Rene Gonzales L'idea di uno studio che compari la poesia gnomica anglo-sassone e quella celtica è ottima. Peccato però che l'autrice non abbia un filo logico e una tesi da seguire. I capitoli sono slegati tra di loro, e soprattutto non viene ben spiegato secondo quale criterio si sono scelte le varie opere da esaminare. La conclusione latita e non vengono tirate le somme delle analisi dei testi. Vi sono alcuni spunti interessanti, ma il lavoro manca di coerenza.

Review # 2 was written on 2020-01-04 00:00:00 Fred Van Holst Gail Collins is my favorite newspaper columnist and this book is a great look at the intersection of politics, celebrity and gossip. Exactly what you would expect- lots of great rumors/stories about politicians, with particular emphasis on how the rumors started and how the public reacted.
