Review # 1 was written on 2012-12-29 00:00:00 Diana Grzegorzak Organ Donation opposing Viewpoints by Laura K. Egendorf is a non fiction book that gives you the real insight of the pros and cons to organ donation. Throughout the book it has given me a look as to why when I pass away if I should donate my organs to save a life or not. The author also did a great job at not just scratching the surface but truly going in to depth and thinking more about organ donation, For example one chapter specifically talks about if children should be allowed to donate their organs or not and also if prisoners should be forced to donate their organs. There's so many different way that I can see how I can include it in to my writing. I also took away that organ donation may not be for some people and those who don't support that need to try their best to accept that. Lastly the chapters throughout the book gave me a good sense of direction that I would go in my own paper or even include bits and pieces in my own work. Another thing I liked about this book and the way it was written was I was able to take a way actual facts and information that I can include and educate my peers by translating it in to my paper. I can tell that Laura was very well educated on the topic of organ donation and I hope for my paper to seem that way. If you're interested in learning more about the organ donation then I would highly recommend this book or if you're in need of evidence why organ donation is a good or bad thing I would recommend this book as well.

Much can still be applied to current issues and races in 2018, but you have to be mindful of where changes have been made already and what new challenges we face since January 20, 2017.
