Review # 1 was written on 2017-08-22 00:00:00 David Jacobs I loved this book when I was a child and it still is good. It's little golden book land games time and no one wants Poky Puppy on their team because he's so slow. He is granted in as an alternate though if someone can't run. Not many of his friends train or sleep and the day of the race Tawny Scrawny Lion tripped on his tail and fell spraining his paw. It's up to Poky to fill in and he ends up winning the race. All his friends cheer and when he asks which team he can be on the next year everyone wants him. Cute book and illustrations were great.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-05-19 00:00:00 Shaun Mawhinney I like this little book, it has animals in place of people but there is no magic or super natural woven into the story. Very good book.
