Review # 1 was written on 2009-12-31 00:00:00 Omar Sharif This is an academic work, but not dry, and each chapter can stand alone as they deal with different facets of the title topic. I was reading for the theory that the rise in popularity of men's fraternal organizations parallels the rise of the cult of True Womanhood, but I ended up going beyond that remit and reading the entire book as it was really interesting. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-02-08 00:00:00 Miguel A. Medrano Incredibly interesting. Ever wondered about the origins of the particularly American flavor of aggressive, evangelical behavior/rhetoric/culture? Read this! |
