Review # 1 was written on 2013-11-26 00:00:00 Diane Lim I admit I don't so much read these coffee-table art books as use them to jog my memory of places I've visited, or would like to visit. As far as I'm concerned I'm happy just thumbing through the book looking at the pretty pictures. On a more practical note this book has sensational photographs of every aspect of Pompeii, and you can have a copy for about 20.00 at amazon. Truly a marvelous book about a mesmerizing city tragically preserved for the twenty-first century traveler.
