Review # 1 was written on 2021-03-15 00:00:00 James Wright I read this a while back and am re-reading it, but it's the BEST ever Barnes and Noble bargain book I've bought. Short and sweet, funny and entertaining AND informative. Written for kids but just as delightful for a 20-something casual history buff/lover! Enjoy it. I highly recommend it!

They are in bite side pieces, so it is good when you want a book that you can put down easily. Lots of interesting facts that you may have known, like why did pirates wear a gold earring. Did you know that Genghis Khan's spies became one of the inspirations for the Pony Express? The knights Templar were responsible for a number of "inventions".
