Review # 1 was written on 2013-04-11 00:00:00 Louis Van Aardt An interesting book by Thielicke - I read a number of his books at one time (including his massive autobiography) - but not one of his best. Slightly odd, in some ways.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-03-12 00:00:00 David Snapp A useful summary which provides both context and content for a wide range of theological figures/movements. Especially good in addressing the German scene over the past 200 years (perhaps weaker in the analysis of more recent global developments).
