Browsing the library is something I've missed so much because I pick up things that I would never come into contact with otherwise. This middle grade chapter book found its way into my life and I'm so grateful for that. This is the story of how our fictional grade 4 protagonist Mary Elouise goes from being embarrassed about Black history to finding her place within it and even celebrating herself. I loved it.
