Review # 1 was written on 2010-12-29 00:00:00 David Bloomquist This much-promising biography took me ages to get through as my attention waxed and waned considerably. I was hoping for a straight-forward biography but was disappointed when found it to be interspersed with "how Marguerite came to write the Heptameron".

Review # 2 was written on 2018-09-14 00:00:00 Alex Sid I don't think it's a bad book, at all, but it's just really not my sort of book. Found it very hard to stay focused on, partly because of the writing style (I appreciate the idea behind it but it's just not for me).
