Review # 1 was written on 2008-01-20 00:00:00 Rene Serna This is an interesting study of the 'racial grotesque' and has alot of art I have never seen, most of it racist. Anything scholarly with the word grotesque in the title I'll read. This particular book is good to read alongside the Maroon history book, as there is some overlap.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-12-27 00:00:00 Kim Mills Informative, well-written, and argumentatively sound, this book would be a pleasure to read for anyone interested in the Middle Ages, the giants and monsters about which they wrote, and psychoanalytic theory. (I'm sure there are dozens of you)
