Great book. Reading about the strategy of a company makes me like the firm even more - not because "they care for the customer" but because I see how everything was planned for and every element is intentional and functional to a higher vision and that is the reason why they are successful and not just sheer luck (which often is just temporary) In one of the introduction he says that one can read this book on multiple levels, depending on his knowledge and his interest, and this is fundamentally true. On one side, to the casual reader, this is the story of how Zara rose to success. But, to the management student, you can read this as a case study - and indeed it offers all the info needed to do so. Since this was the topic of my Spanish thesis, for further reading I suggest: -ZARA: Fast Fashion -AMANCIO ORTEGA, DE CERO A ZARA

One of the best books on business I have read!! Offers an insight on how Zara grew from a tiny shop to global chain. What really inspired me along the way is how Amancio Ortega nurtured the brand & create a great value proposition for all stakeholders!!!
