Review # 1 was written on 2016-09-12 00:00:00 Jacob Martino I didn't end up reading much of this for the class I bought it for, but from what I can tell it's a quite useful book for someone interested in linguistics (particularly in phonology and phonetics).

Review # 2 was written on 2009-07-11 00:00:00 Robert Yarbrough An excellent, clear overview of a lot of the meta-processes behind learning a language. Probably not for everyone, though the authors make it as approachable as perhaps it could be, given how much they cram in this book.
