Fantastic book on the importance of stretching. The main point is that our muscles contract if they spend too much time one certain position, or after strenuous use. The best way to relieve them is to spend a little time stretching before, and immediately afterwards. That way we allow them to expand to their original length, and they tire less. There are loads of great advice, and explanation on value of stretching. After the introduction, the chapters are divided by common sports, and stretches for them. You have stretches for golf, for skiing, for running. There are also stretches for people who sit a lot, for kids, or elderly. At the very end there are stretches for every muscle group, from your toes to the head. Every stretch has photos that help guide you through the motion. Excellent guide!

Everyone has goals they want to achieve at some point in their life, but sometimes it can be hard to get started. I enjoy reading this book, which was full of good ideas on not only getting started, but also completing your goals.
