Review # 1 was written on 2010-02-21 00:00:00 Richard Carey Deceptively simple in narrating three friends' lives intertwined, in actually amazed me with moments of awe. I thought that reality does that on a regular basis: gives you plenty of mundane, even boring days, only to take you by surprise from time to time with some deep awareness moments. The ending was unexpectedly heartwarming for me.

Review # 2 was written on 2016-09-29 00:00:00 Khairul Nizam Idris WoW! In the running for best book of the year for me. Impressive story, unique characters and well developed relationships. I was caught up in the emotions and devastating effects of the tragedy on all those connected to the child, the families, and throughout the years. Such a good story!
