The last chapter is outdated, although none of the facts were particularly incorrect since the book was revised in 1956. Overall it gives a good survey of Russian development until 1945. As with any textbook, it is a bit boring for some stretches.

This almanac which would be a non circulating almanac in the high school library is a must have for people trying to gain a greater understanding of American History. This almanac would be good for a high school because it gives students studying for AP US History tests the ability to gain a greater since of knowledge about their given topics.
