Review # 1 was written on 2015-10-13 00:00:00 Edward Rankin Interesting collection of essays that examines the ways that welfare affects individuals based on their gender, class, and race and the tremendous negative impact that welfare "reform" in the 1990s had on poor women.

Review # 2 was written on 2010-02-27 00:00:00 Kerry Martin This book simply explains how to measure inequality of opportunity. The data used in this book mostly related to Latin American countries. For someone who wants to become familiar with notion of equality of opportunity as well as how to measure it, I highly recommend this book!
