Review # 1 was written on 2007-10-26 00:00:00 Jenson Zhao I liked it. It's very Gibsonian, which is how the world really is. He tried to walk a fine line between entertainment and textbook, which he strayed on one side or the other at times, but I admire the effort. While the philosophy at the end was a bit out of place, I enjoyed it and it resonated with me. |
Review # 2 was written on 2015-01-05 00:00:00 James McIntyre Some of the middle chapters get a bit formulaic, but overall the book was a great introduction to modern cognitive science. The perspective is fresh and insightful, supporting evidence abounds, and there is enough humor to keep you awake on a long train ride. |
