Review # 1 was written on 2019-01-30 00:00:00 Narinde Mafzi Jack London is a local "hero" where I live and I have visited his ranch in Glen Ellen, CA many times. His rather short life - he died at age 41 of kidney failure brought on by his excessive use of alcohol - is presented without embellishment in this slim Oxford University Press biography.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-05-09 00:00:00 Mariaan Van Staden A nice book of memories a parent shares with a child. It is a good reminder for parents to reminisce with their children, especially since they might not remember some of the events early in their childhood. The illustrations are fuzzy watercolors and go along well with the book. I think I like this more than our girls do, but they've humored me and let me read it to them a couple of times.
