Review # 1 was written on 2017-06-09 00:00:00 Walter Teckemeyer Highly dated, but the use of photographs makes this work very nicely both as a color book and as a simple "I Spy" book. The babies come in a variety of colors and with non-white sounding names, so that's a plus. |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-05-01 00:00:00 Alexa Geistman This picture book is very simplistic. By using photographs, the author associates different colors with different objects. This book would be used for those in pre-school or below. For this book I like the fact that they used photographs instead of hand drawn pictures. Also, the words are simplistic and to the point. Children wouldn't get confused as their parent or guardian read this book. Also, seeing an actual picture of an object allows the person reading to go on a "scavenger hunt" with the child to find the objects that are the same color as the ones in the book. |
