The book is based on a set of precepts: (1) Educational leaders must understanbd policy and the policy process; (2) Educationa leaders must understand basic theory regarding education policy making; (3) Education leaders must understand power and its use (and abuse); (4)It is critical to understand values inherent in policy; (5) State government is an important player in the process (although this is hardly a revolutionary statement). All in all, a pretty decent work.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-11-02 00:00:00 John Moore I read this as required for my School Leadership certification. It has all the information you need to understand education policy. Excellent resource.
