Written by a philosopher, it is a slow read taking an in depth look at human beings and their need to collect and appreciate things of value from the past, even if not necessarily their own.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-09-05 00:00:00 Nancy Hallett Formative and well-written with a clear focus on what Atlantic History should be about, and with a wealth of topics and examples to weigh historical examination on matters of culture, trade, and social standing.
