That is, I tend to judge the book's contents based on how well they deliver on the promises made in the title. Phillips writes with authority, as he's clearly built a successful consulting practice. In terms of criticism, the book provides general guidance only. That is, there isn't really anything here that is specific enough to help someone who doesn't already have a good idea of how to be a consultant.
