It's a little outdated, but is full of useful information. It's kind of a long, hard read, but it's worth it if you're interested in the stock market and you're clueless. I appreciate the way it is organized; literally it's a question followed by an answer, over and over again. Keep in mind that this book was published during the "internet bubble" where thousands of people left their day jobs to become day traders, mostly unsuccessfully.

I've been reading up on TONS of financial literature lately, and I like this one so far. It's probably dry and boring for the average reader, but for anyone interested in "how Wall St. works" it is very clearly written and presented as a series of questions and answers that make this book easy to jump around by topic and particular point of interest.
